Aviation is the first of its kind in India and offers the following:
Commercial Pilot License (Aero plane)
. Touchwood Aviation started the first course for CPL (A) aspirants
on 16 January 2006 with ground training at Delhi and flying training
at JAT Flight Academy in Serbia. From August 2007, Touchwood Aviation
Academy at Raipur started providing flying and ground training within
India. We are among the first to give a comprehensive package right
from the first step to the last step on the way to become a Commercial
Pilot. We are also the FIRST CESSNA PILOT CENTRE IN INDIA
AND ASIA since Jan 2008.
DGCA Requirements
* Age minimum 18 years on the date of application
to DGCA.
* Educational Qualification Class 10+2 or equivalent
examinations pass with Physics and Mathematics, from a recognized
Board / University.
* Class II and Class I Medical fitness.
* Written examinations passed in Air Regulations,
Navigation, Meteorology and Aircraft General & Specific
* Practical Signals examination for interpretation
of aural and visual signals.
* Flying experience of minimum 200 hours in last five
years preceding the date of application.
* Flying Training in accordance with syllabus prescribed
by DGCA.
* Possess current Flight Radio Telephony Operator's
License (FRTO) License.
* Passed Flying Skill Tests.

Touchwood Aviation Academy is the first of its kind

o Filling the Application for allotment of Computer
number by DGCA.
o Issue of Student’s Pilot License
o Comprehensive ground training to prepare you to clear the DGCA
conducted written and practical examinations
o Flying training and hours, as required by DGCA approved syllabus,
at an established Flying School in minimum possible time and at
the best possible cost
o Adequate training and facilitation to acquire FRTO License
o Flying Skill Tests by DGCA approved examiner
o Facilitation for Commercial Pilot's License endorsement

Ground Training
Touchwood Team conducts approximately 400 classes for aspiring pilots
spanning a period of three to four months. Classes are conducted
six days a week and cover the entire syllabus prescribed by the
DGCA. The following subjects are covered:
* Aircraft specific
* Air Regulations and ATC Procedures.
* Meteorology.
* General Navigation.
* Radio and Navigation Aids.
* Aircraft Instruments.
* Principles of Flight.
* Aero Engines Piston.
* Aero Engines Jets.
* Propellers.
* Airframe.
* Aviation Medicine.
With our dedicated team of instructors and your will
and hard work to become a pilot, these classes are programmed and
structured to prepare you adequately for clearing the five DGCA
examinations namely Air Regulations, Navigation, Meteorology, Aircraft
General and Aircraft Specific.
Flying Training
This is the boom time in civil aviation. Aspiring pilots can ill
afford to waste precious time in completing their flying requirements.
Touchwood Aviation Academy aims to train the students with best
quality and minimum time frame. Courses offered are as follows:
o CPL with single engine IR (CPL SE IR)
o PPL
o Pilot License (Micro light)
o 25H Package
o 10H package
o 175H Package (for new students)
o 175HO Package (for old students)
o 190H Package (for new students)
o 190HO Package (for old students)
o Multi Engine Flying
o Skill Test by DGCA certified Examiner
Time frame for completing the course, subject
to the student clearing the DGCA papers and RTR test and barring
unforeseen circumstances, is as follows:
• CPL (SE IR) - 15 months
• PPL – 06 months
• Pilot License (ML) - 04 months
• 10H Package - 02 months
• 25H Package – 04 months
• 190H Package – 14 months
• 190HO Package – 14 months
• 175H Package -- 12 months
• 175HO Package -- 12 months
• 15H Package -- 03 months
• 15HO Package -- 03 months
The flying training packages consists
of the following:-
* CPL (SE IR) - 200 hours of flight time on a DGCA acceptable and
certified single and multi engine aero planes, which includes a
minimum of
* 100 hours as pilot in command.
* 50 hours of cross country flight time as Pilot in Command.
* 05hours / 10 take off and landings by night as Pilot in command.
* 40 hours of Instrument flight time.
